Site Status Auditor
Summary Statement:
Responsible for starting and ending utility services for electric, natural gas, water/sewer bills, etc. for multiple site customers, by personally contacting each vendor. Must have a thorough understanding of electric, natural gas, and water/sewer utility billing and deposit requirements. Position requires the ability to work multiple locations for multiple customers with a firm deadline, to keep service deadlines, to follow up on all new and closed services, and to track that the vendor has completed the service request. Must be able to keep separate tracking sheets per customer for billing purposes. Position requires aggressive interaction with the customer, vendor and construction manager (in some cases), acting as lead, to get services connected or disconnected before the posted deadlines. Must be able to use accepted forms to communicate with the customer and the Cass bill pay group. Site Status Auditor may assist with new customer set-up by verifying facility and account information, current rates, and resolving any discrepancies with customer. Provide general support to other Cadence Auditors, Sales, Marketing and Operations staff.
Job Qualifications:
- Previous utility or equivalent expertise is required.
- Ability to set goals; independently and proactively satisfy customers’ needs.

- Experience in securing relevant information and identifying key issues and relationships from a base of information relating and comparing data from different sources.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Independently and proactively satisfy customer needs in a constantly changing environment.
- Perform any tasks necessary for the team to succeed; share knowledge and experience freely; interact with Cadence sales personnel, customers, rival utilities, and consultants.
- Solve customer problems; listen to and understand customer wants and needs. Meet all commitments to customers and their local utility suppliers.
- Secure relevant information from multiple sources and identify key issues and cause-effect relationships as it relates to utility billing.
- Recognize symptoms that indicate significant problems. Gather information from several sources to understand problems, trends or opportunities. Take necessary steps to solve problems and to prevent their recurrence.
- Handle multiple tasks, assignments, and projects while maintaining priorities; make only those commitments which can be met; meet all commitments made.
