Expense Management Firm Aggressively Adding Staff, Clients
May 17, 2004
Cincinnati, OH – May 17, 2004 – According to USA Today, the long freeze in United States technology hiring appears over for those firms that properly navigated the economic storm. Names such as Cisco Systems, Hewlett Packard, Accenture and Cincinnati based Cadence Network, Inc. have all announced aggressive hiring expectations amid a record 30,000 new jobs expected in the technology and consulting sectors in 2004.
Cadence president and CEO Jeffrey Hart states that he expects to grow his staff by 15 percent by the end of the year. He also announced the hiring of a new director of sales, Jerry Schmits, who spent the last three years working for Comdata as a national account executive. Previous to Comdata, Schmits worked for 10 years in the utility industry.
Cadence vice president of sales Jerry Schmits indicates that Schmits brings an “exciting and aggressive approach” in educating prospective clients about the Cadence offering. He stated, “With our continued success in bringing value to our clients in the multiple site expense management area, Jerry will help us continue our market leadership and growth of new clients.”
Hart explained that the expense management firm is aggressively pursing and meeting its hiring and growth strategies, another positive sign in the industry. Cadence has added eight new clients in the last six months.
“And as we grow, we match that growth with investments in people, services and technology,” Hart said. “These investments include adding talented team members such as Jerry Schmits. In addition, we are actively recruiting experienced rate analysts, invoice auditors, and client relations representatives.”
Hart added that Cadence also recently completed a major investment in their EMC storage device, allowing optimal delivery of solutions that maximize current technology.
