May 19, 2006

Cincinnati, OH -- May 19, 2006 – As Cadence Network continues to extend its market leading position in providing comprehensive Energy Management Services to national accounts clients, it is pleased to announce the addition of Chris Albrecht to its professional services management team.

Chris, a 30-year industry veteran, has joined Cadence as Director of Energy Procurement for Strategic Accounts. He brings with him a tremendous amount of National Accounts experience, having spent the last 10 years at May Department Stores where he most recently held the position of Director of Supply-Side Energy. This role included the responsibility for energy procurement and all utility related issues in both regulated and deregulated markets for electric and natural gas - great experience for joining the company with the one of the largest and most sophisticated energy procurement programs in North America.

“Were excited to have Chris join Cadence,” said Jeff Hart, President and CEO of Cadence Network. “Chris’s experience as a National Account client will deliver immediate value to our clients. He understands the balance between savings and budget certainty that our clients are trying to achieve in this volatile market.”

Group Managing Director, Simon Northrop explains, “Our partnership with Cadence Network will be mutually beneficial, and we hope to bring business to Cadence as well as using their existing connections to strengthen our links within the U.S. market. We are particularly excited to be introducing our Bureau Service to the market, as this provides a tailored solution to those companies with multiple sites. The service gives the client simple, accessible online information on their utilities costs across all of their sites, however they are spread geographically.”

Prior to May Department Stores, Chris spent sixteen years as a consultant on utility regulation issues including testifying as an expert witness in over sixty proceedings before fourteen state regulatory commissions and the American Arbitration Association. He has also testified before numerous state legislatures, state public service commissions and the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Energy regarding the development of competition and the deregulation of the electric utility industry

“As a National Accounts customer I knew Cadence’s reputation as an industry leader,” said Chris. “I have always been impressed with their comprehensive approach and their ability to blend market expertise with technology and proven processes to help their clients take advantage of every market opportunity. Now I have the chance to be part of this great team of talent and deliver new and exciting products and services.”
