November 2006: Chris Albrecht Named to Editorial Board Chris Albrecht joined Cadence Network in March of 2006 as Director of Energy Procurement for Strategic Accounts. He brings over 30 years of experience in the electric and natural gas industry, having spent the last 10 years at May Department Stores where he last held the position of Director of Supply-Side Energy. This role included the responsibility for energy procurement and all utility related issues in both regulated and deregulated markets for electric and natural gas. Prior to that, Mr. Albrecht spent 16 years as a consultant on utility regulation issues including testifying as an expert witness in over sixty proceedings before fourteen state regulatory commissions and the American Arbitration Association. In that capacity he addressed such topics as cost of service, rate design, revenue requirements, cogeneration issues, contracts and power purchase agreements. Furthermore, he has testified before numerous state legislatures, state public service commissions and the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Energy regarding the development of competition and the deregulation of the electric utility industry.
